Mykal Kilgore is an award winning actor, and a Grammy and NAACP Image Award nominated singer/songwriter. His debut album “A Man Born Black” was released in 2019. Mykal made history as the first openly gay artist to receive a Grammy nomination in the “Best Traditional R&B Performance” Category. Mykal has performed on Broadway, National Television, and most recently at the Met Gala, one of the most prestigious red-carpet events of the year. He spills the tea on the behind-the-scenes moments at the Met Gala, shares the inspiration behind his new single, and speaks openly about his journey about the loss of his mother as the most profound learning moment in his life.
