You can kind of tell when you put them on you kind of tell like how how um tight they grip your head whether or not they're going to like long term be okay, but yeah, it would definitely just.

It's always been a magical time but I look back at that like first eighteen months of of ah Teddy's life where I just.

We would do nap time in the park and it would just it was just so easy and um and it was it was a really magical time. But I think you know posting on my my personal page for quite some time I was always posting pictures at the park and little things at the park and I started getting flooded. From friends and family and um people who followed me over there with questions about disneyland and I just I finally wrote up like all my little tips and tricks and I would just forward them along but it finally got to this place where I thought wow I could really channel this all into 1 spot. And then maybe I could just direct people to this account that you know had these tips for them and I was posting kind of like ambiance photos of the park just the way that I saw disneyland and that seemed to get a good reaction as well. So it transitioned into its own account. Um, and. Actually wanted to do it for some time and finally pulled the trigger one night and I just said I don't care if anyone follows this I'm doing this for me and I just love being there I love being at disney and I love sharing it and I love helping other people. Um. Love it and see it the way I do and find that same Magic. So I started pouring in my tips into this account as well as like disney little secrets and history which has always been something I loved as well. I think that's what makes disneyland special is that it's where walt walked so. There are so many aspects of disneyland. Specifically that are just rich with that disney history and you know disney is what it is because of walt's vision and attention to detail and you see that all throughout disneyland so I share a lot of that a lot of those disney secrets and hidden mickey's and I just try to help make the park fun and accessible for people who. Not going 2 to 3 times a week um and it's been a huge shift. Ah, after reopening the park was closed for fourteen months and after reopening it is a whole new ballpark and frankly, a lot of people feel as if you need like a disney degree to now navigate park.

The bulk of the popular rides and then you'll be able to buy individual rides like Radiator springs racers web slingers and rise of their resistance. You'll be able to buy them for a single price like depending on the day and the popularity 8 dollars per person to ride that ride. So. That system is coming. It is being implemented in Disney world right now and so we anticipate getting it relatively soon. But I think that will help families that are coming in who are not there regularly maximize their day and but it is an extra expense to plan for.

So that's 1 thing to plan for. But if you do not have that take advantage of my my number 1 tip and it kind of falls in line with the name of my account is um, that 8 to 10 magical window. The park is it doesn't really matter what day it is how popular it is. If you can get to the gates around 7 30 you will have about an hour and a half to 2 hours of pretty empty park. You'll be able to get on rides with limited time and enjoy empty walkways get a lot of your priorities in and um.

By 10 o'clock you'll be like okay I'm ready for a little breakfast and then we can kind of tackle our day but that's when the majority of the crowds start rolling in and that also falls in line with my other tip which is make a list of priorities realize that when you're coming to the park. It is a big resort and unless you are staying for 5 to 6 days I would plan to not hit everything so make a list of your priorities and try and get them at the beginning of the day. So if.

Indiana jones is like your favorite ride in the world and that is your priority get there at 7 30 at the gates go straight to indiana jones cross that off your list and then start plugging away at the other priorities. It is a small enough resort that you don't have to worry about I need I mean I can help you maximize. Your time as far as walking but it's a small enough resort that you can walk from indiana and then go over to the matterhorn and it's not this huge distance. So I would just say make a list of priorities and then hit those first There are also um, single writer lines. Um.

Yes, um, and a lot of rides do it so I actually have a post on it where you can find it under my disney tips under the guides section and it lists all the single writers and that's another way to get on a ride like Radiator springs racers. And in it like a fraction of the wait time. Um, if that is something that works for your family. Another thing for families with young kids is rider switch. So if you aren't familiar with rider switch. You basically are allowed to keep 1 parent behind with a younger kid or someone who cannot ride the ride. And the first party is allowed to go on when that party comes off, you can swap who goes. So for example, um, you know I have 2 kids a husband and say you know Charlie can't ride space mountain but teddy can. And me and trent both want to ride and a non-pregnant state. Um, trent could take teddy on and then they could get a rider switch and then I could take teddy on so he teddy would get to write it twice and then I could also have the opportunity while I was waiting with the younger.

But in regards to like secrets around the park. Um, yes, there is club 33 which I was able to visit recently for my first time ever I know. So cool and so essentially club 33 is like this. It's supposed to be this secret club but it's not so secret anymore. But essentially it's this just this door in new orleans square and it lets you in and it is this whole like There's a whole restaurant there's a whole bar and it has some really cool like art and but the thing I left the most about it is this family feel these people who are members of the club have been members for years and everyone knows each other and the bartenders know. People coming in and you can buy special merch and you could just get unique food and they do their own celebrations. There was just recently a small world celebration at Club thirty 3 and but I can tell you the price is astronomical to be a member. Yeah.

Um, there are there's a hidden mickey outside Peter pan on the mailbox. That's fun. 1 my kids love spotting them throughout the park. Um I also love the red and white light bulb. It's a pretty classic. It's now become. Ah, pretty well-known disney secret but when walt was creating the refreshment corner they were painting all the light bulbs and they alternated red white red white. Well they got to the middle and the last light bulb um it was didn't match so it was either going to be red or white and there'd be 2 reds in a row or 2 whites in a row. And he was so it was so important to him to have consistency that he had them paint half the light bulb red and half the light bulb white and so you'll see that today. Um, the continuity and just the attention to detail that walt was walking around the park. And something as simple as a light bulb was important to him and I think that's what makes disney special and kind of a step above other theme parks is is that detail. Um, you can also see if you didn't know walt had an apartment in disneyland he actually had.

Um, 2 but 1 that he was able to frequent more often because he passed away before the other 1 was like really truly finished. Um but the 1 over the fire station was 1 that he was in quite often and the legend has it. He would turn on this light at the window anytime he was in the park to signal to guests and cast members that he was there and apparently after he passed away they turned the lantern off. And the next morning they walked into the park and someone saw that it was on so now they keep it on in remembrance of him and at Christmas time it turns into a christmas tree. So. It's always nice to walk into the park and be greeted by walt's light as a reminder that. Is where he walked this is where he lived and you can tour that apartment when um, they do a few tours that are not available right now but you could always tour that that's on my bucket list is to tour that apartment when the tour comes back.
